York City Academy secured a comfortable 2-0 win over Boston United in the National League Under-19 Alliance League.
Reiss Harrison headed home from Charlie Jebson-King’s cross in the seventh minute and Kiari Ventura added a second with a quarter of an hour gone in the second half.
Table-toppers Fylde could only draw 3-3 at Guiseley and so second-placed York - for whom this was their seventh win in nine league outings - sit five points off the summit with four games in hand.
