YORK City have completed the signing of striker Kurt Willoughby from AFC Fylde on a one-month loan deal.
Willoughby had struggled for game time at National League side Fylde, having scored two goals in 17 appearances this season.
The striker earned the move to the Coasters in the summer after a successful campaign last term with FC United of Manchester, where he scored 19 goals for the National League North club.
The England ‘C’ international is available for selection for York City’s league game against Kettering Town this afternoon at Bootham Crescent.
On the move, Willoughby told the York club website: “I started this season well but then I got injured, had an operation, and came back from that and found myself in and out of the team (at Fylde) not getting consistent football.
“I’ve always had my eye on York and they were interested obviously I can get my game time back, get playing and get scoring again.”
“That’s my sort of game really I like to think of myself as a goalscorer first and foremost.”
