YORK City Academy won their sixth consecutive National League Under-19 Alliance game with a confident 4-0 victory over Alfreton Town.
The young Minstermen are now second in the table, seven points behind leaders AFC Fylde with three games in hand, and ahead of Guiseley on goal difference.
It marked a return to winning ways for York, who went out of the League Cup on Monday after losing 1-0 to FC Halifax Town.
York once again showcased their goalscoring prowess, now having netted 25 in seven league games.
It took York just five minutes to break the deadlock. Charlie Jebson-King, pictured, hit the post with a left-footed effort and Kiari Ventura tapped in on the follow-up.
In similar quick style after the half-time break, Nathan Dyer struck with just three minutes gone. A corner was only partially cleared and he fired it into the roof of the net.
Twenty minutes into the half, it was three as Josh Knowles looped a header home from Dyer's right-wing ball.
After coming so close earlier in the game, Jebson-King added his name to the scoresheet with just under quarter of an hour remaining.
