HOUNDS are through to the semi-finals of the Fastpack Sunday Morning League Senior Trophy after sealing a hard-fought 3-1 win at home to Haxby Town.

Joe Evans netted for the visitors but they were outpointed by efforts from Ian Beckram, Gary Collier and Darren Jackson for Hounds.

Hounds will now face Tang Hall WMC in the last four while Wigginton Grasshoppers will travel to Atlanta in the other semi-final tie.

Atlanta made it to the half-way point of the season in Division One with a perfect record having defeated Hambleton 2-0, extending their top-spot lead over their rivals to eight points in the process.

Wigginton Grasshoppers moved to within a point of Hambleton following a 7-0 triumph at Tang Hall WMC.

Harry Clapham hit a hat-trick in both the first and the second half for the 'Hoppers, with George Brown lashing home the seventh and final goal.

Bishopthorpe defeated Bramham 3-1 to move up to fifth in the standings.

Malt Shovel's 3-2 win at Thorpe United lifted them off the bottom of the table, relegating Haxby to the foot of the pile.

Walnut Tree held on to their three-point cushion at the top of Division Two after beating Clock House 3-2.

Goals from Sam Cowley, Diego Perdisci and Connor Watson secured the three points for Walnut Tree with Dylan Howlett and Callum Acko hitting back for Clock House.

Elvington Harriers gained a 6-1 success from their trip to Rawcliffe to stay within touch of the top.

Third-placed York Medics lost ground after being sunk 5-4 at K-Town.

Joseph Garrard and Mitch Sleight both bagged a brace apiece for K-Town with Thomas Drake notching their fifth.

Selby Olympia scored a 7-1 success over FC Pollington, largely thanks to a five-goal haul from Nathan Lister.

Tom Lazenby and Luke Lambert found the net for the other Olympia strikes.
