YORK & District Schoolboys Under-15s are through to the third round of their Yorkshire Cup competition following a 2-1 win at Calderdale.

The visitors' quick passing caused Calderdale problems and Ollie Swift headed home the opener from Ellis Cattaneo's 25th-minute ball to the back post.

Calderdale capitalised on a mistake in midfield to level after the break before Joe Sidebottom found the winner from man-of-the-match George Harrison's neat pass.

York & District Schoolboys U13s followed up last week's cup win with a 5-1 Schoolboys League thumping of Wakefield.

Goals from Lleyton Brown and Joe Thompson sent York into the break with a deserved two-goal lead, and Cameron Wakerley slotted in a cool third after the restart.

Ben Whitehead added a fourth after Wakefield had pulled one back and Adi Bajaziti fired in the fifth from a tight angle.

Jack Cottam was York's man of the match.

York & District U11s enjoyed a 5-0 win over Leeds 'A' in their Schoolboys League.

Oliver Boast got York off the mark and Ewan Daly added a first-period hat-trick.

Leeds came out fighting in the second period and hit the post but Logan's White's goal finished the game off.
