City of York V beat Thirsk IV 3-2 in division five north. Holly Claydon (2) and Georgia Kaye scored.

City of York Men I remain bottom of North League premier division following a 7-5 loss at Formby.

City of York II are eighth in North League east division three south following a 1-1 draw at home to Slazengers. Chris Newton got the goal.

City of York III lost 3-1 at Halifax in Yorkshire League premier division. Joel Wilson got the consolation.

Ninth-placed in the premier division, City of York IV won a nine-goal thriller 5-4 against Leeds V. Andy Kay’s double was added to by goals from Matt Tipper, Mark Moisley and Andy Richardson.

Acomb Hockey Club Men I leapfrogged opponents Brigg II into fourth place in division one with a 3-1 win.

Matt Dickenson scored twice for the Tangerines before Brigg pulled one back. Pete Greenwood crashed in the third.

City of York V lost 3-1 at Worksop in division two, George Trowsdale the scorer.

Division four north leaders City of York VI made it nine wins from nine with a 3-1 victory at Ben Rhydding IV. Henry Cadogan (2) and Paul Rowntree scored.

Acomb Hockey Club Men II are up to third thanks to a walkover at Boston Spa III and an intense 5-3 win over Halifax III.

Tom Brown’s double gave the Tangerines an early lead and David Timmins added before Halifax pulled two back.

John Forecast and captain Anthony Daley added for Acomb before a late Halifax consolation.

Division five north leaders City of York VIII’s 100 per cent start continued with a 5-1 win at Halifax IV. Harry Forman got a hat-trick with Harvey Ake and Graham Mackfall adding.

At the other end of the table, City of York IX lost 8-2 at home to Leeds VIII, Josh Longster with York’s goals.

City of York X drew 1-1 at Ben Rhydding VII with Rufus Wordsworth on target.
