YORK City completed the double over Boston United as the Academy side backed up their first-team’s victory with a 3-1 win of their own.
On Tuesday night, City moved eight points clear at top of the National League North table with a 2-1 win over Boston at Bootham Crescent.
And York Academy went one better when they won 3-1 away from home against Boston.
York took a 1-0 lead into the half-time break thanks to an opener from Luke Jones.
Boston scored themselves in the second half but strikes from Will Jackson and Brandon Finn ensured that City took the three points.
It’s a victory which means that York now have three wins from their opening four matches in the UCFB National League U19s Alliance north D and sit joint-top of the league table.
