THE non-league football fixture list was virtually wiped out by the weather on Saturday.
Pickering Town’s FA Trophy first qualifying round tie at Prescot Cables was among the many games postponed due to waterlogged pitches.
The Pikes will try again on Tuesday (7.45pm), as will Scarborough Athletic at Atherton Collieries and Whitby Town at home to Worksop Town.
Tadcaster Albion were also thwarted by the rain as their home game with Droylsden was called off in the BetVictor Northern Premier League north/west division.
In the Toolstation Northern Counties East League, Selby Town’s top four trip to Winterton Rangers was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
The third-placed Robins travel to Dronfield on Tuesday (7.45pm) in round three of the League Cup.
