THE opponent to face George Davey on his professional debut next month has been revealed.
York’s Davey will feature on the undercard to Josh Warrington’s IBF world featherweight title defence against Sofiane Takoucht in a four-round contest - his first in the paid ranks.
And the 21-year-old will face Lithuanian Zygimantas Butkevicius on the night.
The Eastern European fighter has competed in 27 contests so far in his professional career, losing just three of those bouts by stoppage.
Butkevicius, who is based in Hull, has lost his last three fights but did upset hometown prospect Phil Wright in Derby back in May.
