POPPLETON United hit back from 2-1 down at Kirkbymoorside to win 3-2 in round one of the York FA Saturday Senior Cup.

Alex Janes netted twice for Poppleton, including a 30-yard screamer 10 minutes from time, and Tom Reid also scored to help United progress in the Keal Teamwear-sponsored competition.
