YORK City Knights' remarkable 2019 campaign ended in a 30-4 Betfred Championship play-off defeat to Featherstone Rovers.
The Bootham Crescent semi-final clash proved a game too far for James Ford's men, who were beaten 44-6 the previous weekend in Toulouse.
However, exiting the play-offs did not take the gloss off a superb season for the Knights, who finished the regular season third in the Championship table.
