TICKETS are now on sale for York City Knights' Betfred Championship play-off semi-final at home to Featherstone Rovers.

Coach James Ford's side will take on Rovers at Bootham Crescent on Saturday (kick off 3pm) for a place in the preliminary final.

The Knights were handed the home tie after losing 44-6 in Toulouse on Saturday, while Rovers progressed with a 34-18 victory over Leigh Centurions on Sunday.

The game is not all-ticket, but the club said advance ticket sales were "going well" for a game that is likely to be the Knights' last at Bootham Crescent before the move to the new Community Stadium.

A club spokesman said the club were hopeful of eclipsing the 3,115 attendance for the final home league match of the regular season against Featherstone last month.

"It is great that we've got a home play-off," he said. "It is going to be good for the fans and hopefully they will turn out in numbers again."

Tickets, priced £17 or £12 for concessions, are available by visiting the website yorkcityknights.com

There is free admission for under-16s.
