THREE members of York Karate have returned with international medals while representing England.
Harry Hardcastle and Amy Tegetmeier, both 16, each won gold medals at the Japan Karate Shoto Championship in Dublin, while Sam Peacock, 14, took silver, in his first international event.
The gold for Hardcastle adds to the British gold and English silver already won this year and could lead to an England call-up.
Instructor Simon Flint said:"Harry, Amy and Sam are excellent role models for the rest of the club."
York Karate train every day, except Sundays.
For those interested, Flint is available to contact via email at jksyork@hotmail.co.uk.
