ENABLE won her second Darley Yorkshire Oaks in her final start on a British racecourse.

Quickly out of the stalls on the final start of her career in Britain, Enable repeated her victory in this race from 2017 in emphatic fashion.

John Gosden's brilliant mare, ridden by Frankie Dettori, led throughout at York to get the better of her old rival Magical by two and three-quarter lengths, after the very briefest of tussles.

Enable will therefore head for her last appearance, in the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Paris -Longchamp in October, on a winning run of 12 - having won 13 out of 14 overall in her career.

After her latest success, Dettori was tearful as he struggled to get his words out in tribute.

He had positioned Enable at the head of the four-strong field from the outset - and although Magical closed to within a length two furlongs from home - the 1-4 favourite surged clear again to win her 10th Group One.

She was also beating Magical for the fourth time.

Dettori told ITV1: "It's the last day she's running in England, so it's special. She's fantastic."
