Alex Kempster has won the Fans' Poll man of the match from York's 2-0 win over Leamington, a result which puts City three points clear at the top of the National League North.

The striker opened the scoring in the victory after 21 minutes via a half volley, with fellow forward Jordan Burrow backing that up with a goal early in the second period.

Kempster took 45% of the vote on our Fans' Poll claiming a higher portion than the fellow shortlisted David Ferguson, Kallum Griffiths and Jordan Burrow.

Next up for York is a trip to Spennymoor on Saturday (3pm).
