YORK City boss Steve Watson is looking to give his whole squad a run-out when they get their pre-season schedule under way.
The Minstermen kick off preparations for the 2019/20 National League North campaign with the visit of Leeds United to Bootham Crescent tomorrow (7pm).
Watson has said he is pleased with how his side have started pre-season - the next step is kicking a ball in anger.
After Leeds, City host League One outfit Bolton Wanderers on Sunday (2pm), while the Whites visit Guiseley on Thursday.
"It doesn't matter what division you're in, the first game is always tough," Watson said. "No amount of training or running can really replicate a football match.
"It'll be great for both sets of players.
"Leeds have a game the day after so I think they'll mix up some youth players and first-team players.
"It'll be a tough test and we've got to remember who we're playing and to get out of it what we need to get out of it.
"For us, we'll probably do two 45s, two different teams, and get a game into everybody."
Meanwhile, the club's online store is now live at www.ycfcstore.co.uk.
