YORK City are hoping to become the first team to take maximum points from Woking for more than seven months.

The Cardinals are unbeaten in 12 matches at Kingfield - a run that stretches back to a 1-0 home defeat against Stevenage on March 6.

Along with former Football League quartet Torquay, Cambridge, Exeter and Halifax, manager Frank Gray's men are also one of only five clubs yet to taste defeat on their own ground this season.

The Surrey side, however, are the meanest team in the Blue Square Premier on home soil, having only conceded four times in seven fixtures this season.

Altrincham and Farsley have both been beaten 2-0 at Woking in 2006/2007 although Rushden (1-1), Cambridge United (0-0), Forest Green (1-1), Weymouth (1-1) and Exeter (1-1) have all left with a share of the spoils.

In total, Woking's 12-game undefeated home run has included four wins and eight draws with a strong defence the basis for extending the sequence this season.

Former Leeds United defender Gray plays with five men at the back and two holding midfielders in Bradley Quamina and Kevin James.

But Woking could be without their talismanic skipper and centre-back Tom Hutchinson. He is doubtful with a foot problem and is the only fitness concern in an otherwise full-strength squad.

In attack, Gray is likely to recall on-loan Stevenage striker Paul Hakim, who was forbidden from playing against his parent club during Tuesday night's 1-1 draw at Broadhall Way.

Hakim is expected to partner four-goal top scorer and ex-Yeading forward Marvin Morgan with Joe Gatting, who is on loan from Brighton, dropping to the bench.

Woking have taken seven points from their last three matches with a point at Stevenage following back-to-back victories over Northwich (3-1) and Farsley (2-0).
