Ryan Whitley 7 – very calm and confident with his handling, kicking and vocal instructions
Kallum Griffiths 6 – only troubled occasionally defensively but might have joined in attacks more
Jasper Moon 7 – promising senior debut from teenager who looked positionally astute, brave and decent on the ball
Sean Newton 7 – played some excellent crossfield passes, but hurried some of his clearances unnecessarily
David Ferguson 6 – teed up a good chance for Burrow, whilst other balls in the box might have been better
Scott Burgess 6 – found it hard to impose himself on the game from a deeper role in the team
Paddy McLaughlin 6 – picked out a perfect pass for Langstaff goal, although could have injected a bit more tempo into the team’s play at times
Alex Kempster 6 – very mixed display with some moments of quality interspersed with sub-standard deliveries from wide positions
Jake Wright 6 – couldn’t get into game in withdrawn number-10 role and rarely got close enough to lone-striker Burrow
Macaulay Langstaff 7 – took his goal in clinical fashion and used ball well before deteriorating a little in the second half like the rest of the team
Jordan Burrow 6 – given a thankless task up against two hulking centre backs on his own and made few inroads
Subs: Wes York 6 – busy (for Wright, 70).
Subs not used: Hamza Bencherif, Jon Parkin, Josh Law, Alex Harris.
Star man: Langstaff
