Adam Bartlett 6 – bystander for long periods of the game and only able to keep out two of three on-target shots
Kallum Griffiths 7 – made a potentially goal-saving tackle and always looked to play ball forward
David Mirfin 6 – caught out a few times with his mobility and could have done better in build-up to first Boston goal
Sean Newton 8 – terrific free kick, confident with long-range passing accuracy and combative throughout
David Ferguson 6 – might have done better with his distribution from the back and crosses into the box
Adriano Moke 6 – didn’t look entirely comfortable in right-wing role and couldn’t break through Boston back-line
Scott Burgess 6 – needed to show more awareness on occasions when carrying the ball forward
Paddy McLaughlin 6 – still waiting for his first goal since returning to City and should have hit target with second-half chance
Macaulay Langstaff 6 – good poaching instinct for his team’s second goal but gave away possession too easily for equaliser
Jordan Burrow 6 – a fifth game passed with the club’s top scorer failing to test the opposition keeper
Jon Parkin 8 – only player in final third that made right decisions throughout and team created just one opportunity after his 63rd-minute departure
Subs: Wes York 5 – peripheral (for Parkin, 63), Alex Kempster (for Moke, 73), Alex Harris (for Langstaff, 81).
Subs not used: Ryan Whitley, Hamza Bencherif.
Star man: Parkin
