PEOPLE'S CHOICE: York City's home kit for 2019/20, as voted for by supporters of the club
YORK City fans have chosen next season’s new home kit and it will be a red shirt with a navy Y-front design.
Supporters were asked to vote on three potential strips for the 2019/20 campaign with the winning jersey finishing just one per cent ahead of red and white Y-front alternative.
The online Twitter poll saw the navy Y-front receive 38 per cent of nominations, while the third top – a red and navy blend – garnered the support of 25 per cent of participants.
Added to emailed votes and those from the club’s Sporting Memories Group, the navy Y-front option proved most popular.
