Adam Bartlett 6 – handled the ball well in the wind before being beaten by Hancock’s match winner
Kallum Griffiths 6 – given odd problem by Ceesay but was largely on top in that battle
David Mirfin 6 – unsettled on odd occasion only to recover composure quickly soon afterwards
Sean Newton 7 – spread play impressively in blustery conditions and defensively solid
David Ferguson 6 – kept tight to Johnston to mainly nullify the winger’s obvious threat
Adriano Moke 5 – started brightly but could not wield much influence on proceedings thereafter
Scott Burgess 6 – should have scored with first-half chance but unlucky not to net with fierce effort after the break
Paddy McLaughlin 5 – might have pressured the ball better for Hancock’s goal and not at his best creatively
Wes York 5 – always industrious although the harder he tried the less joy he seemed to have
Jordan Burrow 5 – could not move Altrincham’s centre backs around enough and didn’t muster a shot at goal
Alex Kempster 5 – had one promising charge down the flank but operated too deep and wide to be a danger
Subs: Alex Harris 5 – peripheral (for Moke, 57), Jon Parkin – ineffectual (for Kempster, 62), Hamza Bencherif (for Griffiths, 90).
Subs not used: Ryan Whitley, Josh Law.
Star man: Newton
