Sean Newton 8 – made a couple of vital penalty-box interceptions and won strong share of aerial contests
David Ferguson 7 – committed but given odd problem by Sweeney and might have been punished for a second-half mistake
Adriano Moke 7 – bypassed a little in midfield but scrapped for possession when required
Scott Burgess 8 – set-pieces could have been better but tried his best to make things happen in possession
Paddy McLaughlin 7 – dependable as ever with his pass execution, but could have done better with a couple of chances
Wes York 7 – busy throughout and provided telling cross that led to only goal of the game
Jordan Burrow 7 – fought a war of attrition against home centre backs without really threatening goal
Alex Kempster 8 – showed poacher’s instinct for the vital goal and caused problems drifting in from the left
