YORK City today signed Bury midfielder Scott Burgess on loan until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old has made 22 first team appearances for the League Two Shakers and spent last season on loan at Macclesfield Town in the National League.
A product of the Bury youth system, he had a loan spell with Stalybridge Celtic in National League North and had loan stint at Wrexham this season.
He also spent three months on loan at Norwegian club Bersoy in 2016.
Burgess is the second new arrival at the club in the space of 24 hours after manager Steve Watson re-signed former Minstermen midfielder Paddy McLaughlin on loan until the end of the season from Hartlepool United.
Both players are available for Saturday's game against Chorley at Bootham Crescent.
