Adam Bartlett 6 – couldn’t really be faulted for any of the goals and was generally assured
Kallum Griffiths 6 – made some good recovery tackles and largely handled the direct Stephenson well
Hamza Bencherif 5 – never really assumed charge of back-line as its most senior member
Sean Newton 5 – caught out of position on occasions, leading to yellow card and came close to a second caution
David Ferguson 6 – linked up well with Kempster at times and put in good cross for latter’s goal
Josh Law 5 – struggled to track Warburton’s runs from deep and offered little going forward
Adriano Moke 5 – substituted early in the second half after failing to provide penetration from midfield
Liam Agnew 6 – tried to provide forward purpose, but sometimes a little too hurried in his play
Jake Wright 5 – scrapped and harassed as usual without often getting the better of those he assailed
Jordan Burrow 5 – competed with Stockport back-line, although caused them few concerns
Alex Kempster 7 – covered good yards on the ball and made up for poor first-half finish with well-taken goal
Substitutes: Wes York 6 – eager (for Moke, 57), Jon Parkin (for Wright, 71).
Subs not used: Ryan Whitley, Joe Tait, Macaulay Langstaff.
Star man: Kempster
