YORK CITY loanee Joe Ironside has been recalled by parent club Kidderminster Harriers.
The forward had been on loan at City since November 12, with his deal at Bootham Crescent due to expire on January 12. That would have included the match against Hereford, which was scheduled for this Saturday.
But the Bulls are instead in FA Trophy action this weekend meaning City have no game and, with the loan agreement not being extended, the player has now returned to Aggborough.
Ironside made a total of 10 appearances during his stay at Bootham Crescent, including six as a substitute. His last was off the bench in the 1-0 defeat at Curzon Ashton on Saturday, which heralded the departure of manager Sam Collins.
