HARRY MOORCROFT scored five as Haxby United hammered York Fastpack Ltd Sunday Morning League division one strugglers Acomb Club 13-0.

Dave Fell bagged a brace for fifth-placed United with Daniel Clipston, Ryan Peart, Will Plews, George Rhodes, Ash Varley and Gonzalo Delgado-Caballero all joining them on the scoresheet.

Level on points with Haxby are Bishopthorpe CFC, who picked up their fifth win of term, seeing off Brayton 8-2 thanks to braces from Joshua Fairman, Connor Watson and Daniel Zimer, with Elliot Robinson and Christopher Trewick adding.

Patrick Guest scored both of Brayton’s goals.

Dom Balance netted eight as division two leaders Thorpe United thumped bottom side FC Harrogate 12-0. Jake Wild (2), Alex Bowden and Matthew Harker also netted.

Danny Phillips four times for Mitre but his side lost 6-4 to Tang Hall WMC.

Tang Hall manager and former Mitre player Roy Page scored two with Jason Ezard, Sean Allan, Andrew Rothwell and Jack Willis all adding to keep them in touching distance of the top.

Goals by Stuart Harrison (2) and Sam Lapish saw Rawcliffe United edge Selby Olympia 3-2. Joshua Worsfold and Robert Frair replied.

Clockhouse were held 3-3 at home by Kings Head United, whose scorers were James Deal, Issac Westley and Billy White.

Lukasz Pasek and Ged Christian netted as Pollington picked up their second win of the season, beating York Medics 2-1. Matthew Russell replied.

K Town United fought back from a two-goal half-time deficit to draw 5-5 at home to Wentworth, who themselves had come back from 2-0 down to lead 4-2 at the break.

James Heeles hit a hat-trick for the hosts and Liam Edmondson a brace. In return, Peter Baird netted a treble and Diego Perdisci a double for Wentworth.

Bramham Sunday will host New Inn Whites in the West Riding County FA Sunday Trophy fourth round after beating FC United of Baildon.
