Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder wants his side to be positive when they host Leeds United in Saturday's early kick-off.

The Blades sit fifth in the Sky Bet Championship table with just one win from their last four matches, as Leeds will be looking for their first victory at Bramall Lane since April 1992.

"Leeds United will come and definitely try and win the game of football, and have confidence in their approach and confidence in their players, just as much as we will," Wilder told a press conference.

He added: "We're going to be on the back foot at times on Saturday, no doubt about that, but we'd like to take the game to the opposition as well."

A win for the home side would see them overtake their Yorkshire rivals who currently sit second in the league, just one point behind Championship leaders Norwich.

Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa praised his Sheffield United counterpart, saying: "I would say the Sheffield United head coach is someone with new ideas, and I have seen very few people with these ideas."

League leaders Norwich take on Rotherham on Saturday. The Canaries winning streak in the league was stopped at six when they were held goalless at Hull on Tuesday night.

Middlesbrough are unbeaten in their last seven matches in the league and take on an Aston Villa side pushing for the play-off places at the Riverside.

Aston Villa boss Dean Smith is looking forward to what he expects to be a "tough test" on Saturday against Tony Pulis' men.

On his opponents, Smith said: "Middlesbrough already have started this season very well, (with) the most clean sheets throughout all of the leagues so they've got a very good defensive record."

Villa were held 5-5 by Nottingham Forest in midweek, whose manager Aitor Karanka is concerned his side may be tired for their match against Ipswich.

Swansea will be looking to bounce back from two successive home defeats when they travel to Pride Park to face a Derby side who lost their last match, to Stoke.

QPR host Hull while Bolton take on Wigan in their bid to move out of the bottom three.

Blackburn will be looking to avoid a third defeat in a row in the Championship when they take on Sheffield Wednesday, and Reading play Stoke as they attempt to move clear of the relegation places.

Mid-table Birmingham host a Preston side who are unbeaten in their last nine games while on Sunday Bristol City host Millwall and West Brom are visited by Brentford on Monday.
