WIGGINTON Grasshoppers went top of Fastpack York Sunday Morning Football League division one with a 2-2 draw at Atlanta.

Scott Harrison and Scott Johnson's goals for the hosts were cancelled out by Josh Luckhurst's brace for Hoppers, for whom the point was enough to take them to the summit, with former leaders Hounds in cup action.

Brayton sit bottom of the table following a 7-0 home defeat to Bramham, Lewis Chappell's own goal setting them on their way. Brayton's misery was compounded when Patrick Guest exited with a hamstring injury.

Bishopthorpe CFC beat Acomb Club 5-3 thanks to doubles from Connor Watson and Daniel Zimer, with Elliot Robinson also on target. Alex Day, Jordan Cook and Jamie Edgerton replied.

Division two leaders Thorpe United hammered FC Harrogate 9-1. Alex Bowden scored a hat-trick and Jake Wild a brace while Lucas Matthewman, Tom Knight, Daniel Jones and sub Matthew Harker were also on target.

Second-placed Tang Hall WMC brushed aside FC Pollington 6-1. Connor Wade bagged a hat-trick and Joseph Rawcliffe, Declan Moon and Andrew Rothwell all added.

Four goals from Andrew Porter and a hat-trick from Thomas Lazenby saw Selby Olympia beat K Town United 7-2. Alex Shaw and Jojo Waller scored for K Town.

Mitre beat York Medics 2-1 thanks to Oliver Coulthard and Danny Phillips goals. George Claeys-Sheridan replied.

Elvington Harriers beat Wentworth 2-1 courtesy of strikes by William Amesbury and Alex Watson. Glenn Scott responded with a brilliant volley from inside the area.

In the Barkston Ash FA JB Plows Cup first round, Hounds won 7-3 at Hambleton and Malt Shovel beat Kippax 3-2.
