CHURCH Fenton made it four wins from four in the reserve 'A' division of the York Minster Engineering Football League with a 3-1 victory at Hemingbrough.

They duly moved level at the top of the table with Thorpe United.

John Cavanagh hit a hat-trick for Wigginton Grasshoppers but his efforts were in vain as they went down 6-4 to Old Malton. A spectacular diving header from Mark Scoreby rounded off the home side's scoring but Old Malton remained in charge at the final whistle.

Malton & Norton retained their 100 per cent record in reserve 'B' with a 6-2 victory at Wilberfoss.

Second-placed Tockwith were held to a goalless draw by Bishopthorpe United, while Dringhouses returned to winning ways with a 5-4 thriller at Copmanthorpe.

Ben Jones struck twice for the home side with an effort from Cam Gomersal and an own goal making up the rest of their tally. Cole Carter, Josh Parker, Reece Botterill, Myles Frodsham and Harry McMillan netted for Dringhouses.

Adam Love and Joel Gallagher-Coates hit the target in F1 Racing's triumph at Haxby Town. Malt Shovel scored a 5-1 win over Stamford Bridge, who are still seeking their first point of the season.
