TRACEY FARMEARY'S 21 darts helped Acomb Cons Club secure victory at division one rivals Marcia in the York John Smith's Ladies Darts League.

Farmeary was joined by Gina Whittaker, Bev Harton, Lauren Farmeary and Tina Platt as the league leaders won 7-2 after Marcia's landlady Linda Penrose had broken their duck.

Sharon Matthews closed on 100, comprising 20 and two double-20s, as Burnholme took a 4-0 advantage at Severus ‘B’ en route to a 5-4 win.

Sue Gillon and Michelle Kelly replied but Matthews and Marj Pearson secured match points.

Fulfordgate beat Slipper 6-3. Michelle Britton (25), Muriel Britton and mother and daughter Dawn and Alex Exton sent Gate into the pairs 4-2 up, and Jill Reed secured victory.

Nella Majsterek and Wendy Sullivan secured a 5-4 win for Tramways in the pairs at Clockhouse. Karen Alton hit three tons on the trot for Tramways - although the double eluded her.

Division two leaders Severus ‘A’ beat Leeman 'A' 6-3.

Debbie Witts gave Leeman a start, but Glynnis Simpson, Sue Richardson, Carol Robson and Jackie Simpson replied to set up Sev's win. Charlotte Witts pulled one back before the pair of Richardson and Robson sealed victory.

Saddle Inn and Edinburgh Arms were all-square entering the pairs where Edinburgh took control, sealing a 6-3 victory after Amanda Bevan and Donna Lynes had edged them in front.

Gemma Fletcher won for Holgate ‘A’ but they went down 6-3 at home to Leeman 'B', who had Maggie Bedingham, Julie Oliver and Karen Simmons in winning form.

Sandra Flintoft and Kirsty Limbert levelled again for the hosts before Leeman notched a clean sweep in the pairs.

Sandra Pallister and Katrina Thackeray gave Priory a good start but they lost 6-3 at home to Holgate ‘B’, who had Alice and Christine Turgoose, Sarah Evans and Angela Fletcher replying before the pair of Evans and Elma Standing secured the win.

Division one team Clockhouse now play from York Acorn ARLC in Thanet Road.
