SIMON Heslop has moved up to second on The Press Player of the Year leaderboard.
The 31-year-old midfielder is in pursuit of Kallum Griffiths at the top of the standings having collected two points as our second-highest rated performer during the 2-1 win at Southport.
He also picked up the two bonus Player of the Month points after receiving the most man-of-the-match votes in our Twitter poll to become Jordan Burrow’s closest challenger in that contest.
The other Press points were shared out between our man-of-the-match Tom Allan (three) and third-highest rated performer Burrow.
