GRAEME Crawford and Michael Ingham will answer fans’ questions at “A Night With Two Great York City Goalkeepers” in the Acomb Conservative Club.
The Monday, October 29 event has been organised by York City Supporters’ Trust and starts at 7.30pm.
Admission is free, although any donations would be welcomed by the Trust on an evening when supporters can meet 1970s’ favourite Crawford and Ingham, whose clean sheet record between City’s sticks is only bettered by Happy Wanderers’ legend Tommy Forgan.
Tickets for the Grand Trust Raffle will also be sold on the night, costing £1 each, with prizes including family days out, alcohol, chocolates and festive gifts, for a draw that is to take place on December 15.
Alternatively, tickets can be purchased either by emailing fundraising@ycst.org.uk or via the donations link on the Trust’s website at ycst.org.uk, clearly stating a name, contact information and how many tickets are required.
The Trust are also running a Pig Racing event at Acomb Conservative Club on November 27.
That evening starts at 7.30pm too, with admission costing £5 to include a Pie & Pea supper.
The pigs cost £5 each, with sponsorship of a race available at £20 and the donation of a “bottle of something”.
Tickets can be pre-purchased by visiting ycst.org.uk
The Trust are looking for more volunteers, meanwhile, to join their fundraising team.
More details are available by emailing fundraising@ycst.org.uk
