THE Fulford Ladies Invitational Tennis League presentation evening saw York 1 ace Wendy Stirke pick up the Terry Haw Trophy, awarded to the player who won the most league games.

Stirke ended with 339 games, as her team - the only side throughout the league to go unbeaten - took the division one title for a sixth consecutive year.

They finished nine points clear of runners-up Pocklington.

Division two champions Fulford will return to the top flight at the first time of asking, joined by Starbeck.

Dominant division three winners Dunnington go up alongside runners-up Wistow.

David Lloyd 3 won division five, a point ahead of Wilberfoss.

Champions Dunnington and Cawood are promoted from division six, while Stamford Bridge and runners-up Sheriff Hutton go up from division seven.
