Farsley Celtic progressed to the second round of the West Riding County FA Cup with a 3-1 win at Pontefract Collieries.

Farsley led 1-0 at half-time thanks to a Nathan Cartman goal after good work from Ben Atkinson.

Pontefract were reduced to ten men when Cody Cromack was red-carded for a challenge on Luke Parkin.

But Collieries levelled through Jack Greenhough, only for Celts to restore the lead through James Spencer before Chris Atkinson sealed the tie in the last minute.

Brighouse Town won their Evo-Stik East clash at Frickley 3-0 tonight.

Aaron Martin gave Brighouse an interval lead with a 13th-minute strike after being set up by Gabriel Johnson.

Johnson got on the scoresheet himself after good work by Ousman Chan, who made it 3-0 following good play from James Hurtley.

Meanwhile, Guiseley have confirmed that defender Harry Flowers has left to join Vanarama National League club Solihull Moors.

In tomorrow night's matches, Albion Sports host Goole in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division.

Albion are currently third from bottom but will see the clash as a chance to move away from danger against the division’s basement side.

Campion will look to build on their good start to the season in Division One at home to Rossington Main.

Steeton host Chadderton in their first Hallmark Security League clash under lights at Cougar Park.
