YORK City’s postponed trip to Nuneaton Borough has been rescheduled for Tuesday, October 2.
The game had originally been arranged for last Saturday, but was called off due to international call-ups for the home team.
City’s FA Cup second qualifying round opponents, meanwhile, have been confirmed as Ashton Athletic.
The Northern West Counties League premier division’s bottom club caused an upset by winning their replay at Morpeth Town to book a visit to Bootham Crescent a week on Saturday.
Marcus Cusani’s free kick and a Chris Bandell effort gave Ashton a half-time lead in Northumberland, where the hosts’ only reply was a 78th-minute Joe Walton penalty.
Elsewhere, City's youth team kicked off their National League Under-19 Alliance campaign with a 3-1 victory over Frickley Athletic thanks to goals from Nathan Dyer, Kiari Ventura, and Isaac Overton.
