POINTS-MACHINE Connor Robinson has been voted the York City Knights supporters' club's Player of the Season.
Scrum-half Robinson - who could still feasibly break Danny Brough's all-time York RL points-in-a-season record despite playing eight matches fewer - polled 41 per cent of the vote organised by KSS, the Knights' Supporters Society.
Ben Cockayne, who has been a revelation since switching to half-back alongside Robinson, was the runner-up with 21 per cent, with captain marvel Tim Spears third with 14 per cent.
Robinson, who has missed only one match since joining York from Halifax in June 2017, is the runaway top goals and points-scorer in Betfred League One this term with 146 goals and 336 points from his 23 league appearances - helping the Knights to the top of the table with two games left.
