NOTTINGHAMSHIRE were bowled out for 448 shortly before lunch on day two at Trent Bridge before Yorkshire’s reply reached 14-1 at the interval after five overs.
The hosts started the day on 332-7, with Samit Patel and Matt Milnes completing a frustrating eighth-wicket stand of 90.
Patel posted 54 and Milnes 43. Leg-spinner Josh Poysden claimed two of the three wickets to fall this morning, with Milnes lbw and Patel caught at deep backward square-leg.
Tim Bresnan wrapped up the innings by getting Harry Gurney caught at backward point, finishing with 3-93 from 33.3 overs.
Yorkshire missed out on a third bowling point, while Notts claimed all five batting bonus points.
Adam Lyth then fell six balls into the Yorkshire reply, caught in the gully without scoring off Mark Footitt.
Jeet Raval and Harry Brook will begin the afternoon on seven and four respectively.
