EARLY York Sunday Morning League division two leaders Clockhouse made it three wins from three following an 8-1 win over Wentworth.

Dylan Howlett, John McKenzie and Aneu Modon all bagged braces, while Pa Sainey Kanyi and Callum Acko also netted.

The Wentworth consolation was scored by Diego Perdisci.

Rawcliffe United defeated FC Pollington 5-0, courtesy of Jordan Lissenburg's hat-trick and other efforts from David Durham and Matthew Harrison.

Connor Wade (2), Lennon Grayson, Roy Page, Bailey Simpson and Liam Robertson ensured that Tang Hall WMC made a winning start to their campaign, seeing off Elvington Harriers 6-2.

It's two wins from two, meanwhile, for Mitre, as Oli Coulthard (3), Scott Higgs (2) and James Dunwoody inspired a 6-1 win over York Medics.

Previously, Clockhouse had prevailed 5-1 triumph at Medics thanks to Jason Horne's double-strike, Howlett, Kanyi and sub Modon.

Chris Marsden replied for Medics.

New-boys Elvington Harriers won their first game in the league at Wentworth.

Robert Smith-Rubira's opening goal was cancelled out by Wentworth's Dom Green.

After 67 minutes, Jason McLoud put Elvington back in front, only for subs Alex Bonsall to level the scores again.

A goal worthy of winning any game settled matters, though, with Alex Martin's long-distance attempt wrapping up the points ten minutes from time.

Thorpe United were narrow 3-2 winners against Rawcliffe United thanks to Lucas Matthewman, Alex Bracken and Matthew Harker.

Reece Chapman and Tom Jackson were on target for United.

New team Kings Head United won 4-1 at neighbours FC Pollington with Brandon Singh (2), Billy White and Barry Worthington the marksmen.

Scott Inhester grabbed Pollington's consolation.

Mitre, formally known as Burnholme, defeated FC Harrogate 7-3, as Coulthard and Dunwoody both hit hat-tricks, joining Higgs on the scoresheet.
