HOLGATE WMC completed a league and Williamson Cup double for the first time in their history after beating Selby to retain the division one title.
The champions beat Selby 6-2 to secure the York Amateur Bowls Association trophy with one game still to play. RI Amateurs could snatch the runners-up spot from Dunnington if they win both their remaining games, with Dunnington having completed their matches.
At the other end of the table, Hull Road Park and Osbaldwick will return to division two for next season.
In division two, Clifton are looking likely to take the title and return to the top flight at the first time of asking, with an 8- 0 victory over Harrogate moving them back to the top. They are currently level on points with Poppleton but have two games remaining.
Poppleton also had a whitewash 8-0 victory over Retreat to put a stranglehold on second spot, while a busy evening at West Park saw Poppleton Road WMC lose 8-0 to Stamford Bridge and West Park take their sixth victory of the season, beating Scarcroft 7-1.
