YORK City have unveiled the club's new Under Armour kit for the 2018/19 Vanarama National League North season.

The home shirts are the traditional red but with white V-neck retro-style collars, evoking memories of the City shirts worn in the 1950s.

Home shorts are navy blue and the socks are red.

The away shirt, shorts, and socks are all completely white with a V-neck retro-style collar.

The away kit will be worn for the first time in tomorrow's pre-season friendly at Shildon.

Sean Newton, Russ Penn, Tom Allan, Jake Wright, Wes York, Adriano Moke, and Ryan Whitley modelled the new kit at today's unveiling at Bootham Crescent.

"I think it's really nice and the lads feel comfortable in it," said Newton. "It's a little bit retro with the V-neck white collar. Hopefully, this is going to be a successful season in this kit."

Penn said: "It's great. Under Armour is getting bigger in football. It looks glossy, the colours are great, and it looks fresh. It looks like it should be up there trying to win the league next year."
