YORK'S amateur rugby league clubs will kick off their games early tomorrow to be finished in time for England's FIFA World Cup quarter-final.
York Acorn's home National Conference League division one clash with Ince Rose Bridge has been brought forward to 1pm. Their 'A' team's Yorkshire Men's League division one game, also at Thanet Road, against Hunslet Club Parkside has been postponed.
New Earswick All Blacks also start their YML premier division home game with Siddal Academy at 1pm, while Heworth's division one match at Allerton Bywater has been rescheduled for 1.30pm.
York Lokomotive's division three match at home to Brighouse Rangers has been postponed.
England's game against Sweden starts at 3pm.
