BACK AT BOOTHAM: Russell Penn has rejoined York City
FORMER York City captain Russell Penn has rejoined the club after leaving National League outfit Gateshead.
Midfielder Penn, 32, made 109 appearances for City between January 2014 and May 2016.
He joined Carlisle after the Minstermen's relegation to the Football League, but only made two appearances for the Cumbrians and went on loan to Gateshead and Wrexham, before joining the former last summer in a permanent deal.
