YORK City left-back David Ferguson has missed out on a place in the England C squad to face Wales this month but has been placed on standby.
Ferguson has won three caps for the non-League, under-23 Three Lions team, but has only made the contingency squad for the next international.
That will take place against a League of Wales representative team on Tuesday, March 20 at Barry Town’s Jenner Park ground.
Manager Paul Fairclough has picked a 16-man squad for the match, with a further 18, including Ferguson, listed in a contingency group.
