THE York Minster Engineering Football League representative team will get a home tie in the last four of the FA Inter-League Cup should they win their quarter-final next week.
The YMEL rep XI take on the Staffordshire County League at Harrogate Town's CNG Stadium next Saturday (3pm), having reached the last eight in only their second outing in the competition by thrashing the Chester & Wirral League 8-1.
The draw has already taken place for the semis, and will see the winners of this tie host either the Essex & Suffolk Border League or The Kent County League.
The North Riding League, the Isle of Man League, the Amateur Football Combination and the Thames Valley Premier League are the teams in the other half of the draw.
The York League rep XI's last scheduled match, a friendly against the Humberside League last Tuesday night at Pocklington Town, was cancelled due to the weather, with no chance of arranging an alternative venue at short notice.
This left managers Chris Smith and Simon Wood with little opportunity to check out new faces and formations after being rocked by injuries to Jonny Andrew and Damon Cox.
