DIVISION two leaders Fulford's unbeaten record in the York FA Under-19s League has been ended.
The front-runners, hitherto with 11 wins from 11, were beaten 2-0 at home by second-placed Riccall, Pat Conlon and Jamie Bray the scorers. There is still a nine-point gap at the top.
Barmby Moor rose to third with a 6-0 win over Wheldrake - Will Bright, Ned Lyons (2), Luke Ansell, Sam Noble and Matt Hadsell the marksmen.
Oliver Simpkin and George Huntington got Rufforth's goals as they won 2-1 at Copmanthorpe, while Jack Leeming hit a hat-trick as Heworth won 4-0 at Easingwold Harriers, Euan Surgenor also on target.
There was a shock result in division one, also, as York Cubs thrashed Wigginton 12-1 in the only top-tier game to beat the weather.
The plunder was shared by Dan Zimer (4), Tom Charlesworth (3), Lucas Hindle (3) and Charlie Power (2) as the Cubs moved to within a point of their opponents in mid-table. Cameron Bilham got Wiggy's consolation.
