DRINGHOUSES Football Club have been boosted by a £663 grant allowing them to replace the existing goals and goalposts for all their teams.
The donation comes from the Football Foundation, the largest sports charity in the UK, which is funded by the Premier League, the FA and Government, via Sport England.
Club chairman Mick Backhouse said: “We are extremely grateful to the FA facilities fund for helping us buy our new goalposts.
“Our old posts were extremely old and rusted. The new goals are aluminium and make it easier to carry and set up on match days.”
