OUT-OF-CONTRACT York City defender Dave Winfield has joined National League South outfit Ebbsfleet United.
Winfield, 28, won The Press Player of the Year and Billy Fenton Clubman of the Year awards at Bootham Crescent last term, but turned down the offer of a new contract with the Minstermen.
Ebbsfleet missed out on a chance to ply their trade in the National League with City during 2016/17 after losing their play-off final to Maidstone United.
Elsewhere, Dagenham & Redbridge, relegated from the Football League with the Minstermen last term, have taken their summer signing spree to ten players, following the arrival of defenders Josh Staunton and Craig Robson from Charlton and Bognor Regis respectively.
Forest Green, meanwhile, have swooped for Notts County midfielder Liam Noble and teenage striker Olly Mehew, who was previously training with Bristol Rovers.
Goalkeeper Jake Cole has also swapped Woking for Aldershot.
