YORK City pair Tom Platt and Emile Sinclair have had their respective loan spells at non-League Harrogate Town and Guiseley extended for a further month.

Further loan additions to the Minstermen’s ranks, meanwhile, have not been ruled out by manager Jackie McNamara if he feels fit.

City currently have six loan players on their books – Will Boyle, Kyle Cameron, Bradley Fewster, Luke Hendrie, Ntumbu Massanka and Lubo Satka – with only fine allowed in a matchday squad but McNamara said: “Tom Platt and Emile Sinclair are staying out for another month and I’ve spoken to the chairman about little things we might need and that option but we would need to make sure, whoever came in, would improve us and they are ready to go.

“We couldn’t take somebody that hasn’t played for three or four months.”

McNanama added, meanwhile, that he is not prioritising some fixtures over others as “must-wins” ahead of this weekend’s trip to bottom-of-the-table Dagenham.

“We’re not targeting certain games because, if you look at it that way, you go into other matches not expecting to win,” he explained. “You’ve got to try and win every game you play and we’re trying our best to do that whether we are the underdogs at Oxford or we’re against a team down the bottom.”
