LUKE HENDRIE'S loan stay at York City has been extended until the end of the season.
The right-back joined the Minstermen on a one-month loan from Burnley at the start of the month and manager Jackie McNamara has moved quickly to keep him on the Bootham Crescent club's books.
His original deal was due to expire after this weekend's League Two clash against Stevenage.
The 21-year-old defender played the full 90 minutes against both Newport County and Carlisle United since his arrival from the Championship outfit.
