YORK City striker Ryan Jarvis has joined Conference club Aldershot until the end of the season.

Jarvis has not played for the Minstermen since being sent off during Russ Wilcox’s first game as manager – the 1-0 home defeat to Shrewsbury in October.

Wilcox has also waived his right to a recall clause in the deal, meaning Jarvis, who is out of contact in the summer, could have played his last game for the club.

The City boss said: "Ryan Jarvis has joined Aldershot on loan until the end of the season and there will be no call-back clause."
